Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analytical Chemist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in performing qualitative and quantitative analyses using a variety of analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, KF, and FTIR. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to 1 year of experience to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, scientific environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy (UV/Vis), Karl Fischer Titration (KF), and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR).
• Prepare samples and standards according to established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Document all experimental procedures, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
• Assist in method development and validation under supervision.
• Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., cGMP, ISO).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• 1 year of relevant laboratory experience (internships, co-op, or academic lab experience may be considered).
• Basic knowledge of chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
• Exposure to GMP/GLP or regulated lab environments is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic lab data software (e.g., Empower, ChemStation, LabSolutions) is an asset.
