We are looking for passionate California-based education professionals to join our team as Part-Time Education Consultants. As a California Education Consultant at Learning Genie, you will play a key role in supporting professional development initiatives across the state. This is a part-time consulting opportunity ideal for seasoned educators—especially those who are retired or approaching retirement—who are eager to share their knowledge, guide fellow educators, and support transformative change in curriculum adoption and professional learning. This position involves flexible consulting work between July and October, with training sessions conducted on-site at partner school districts across California. Why Join Learning Genie? Collaborate with a dedicated, passionate team focused on educational equity and innovation. Contribute your real-world experience to influence curriculum implementation and instructional quality. What You’ll Do Lead professional development and training sessions for educators using Learning Genie tools and resources. Support onboarding, coaching, and engagement for educators, school leaders, and district administrators. Collaborate with internal Learning Genie teams to tailor and deliver high-quality, needs-based training experiences. Assist with upselling efforts by showcasing the impact of Learning Genie’s solutions during training sessions. Travel to school district sites across California (July–October window) to deliver 3-hour sessions. What We’re Looking For Retired educators or those approaching retirement are especially encouraged to apply. Availability to travel to school district sites across California (July–October window). Familiarity with adult learning principles and coaching strategies. Experience presenting or training in K-12 or early learning environments. Deep understanding of effective teaching practices and professional development delivery. Strong communication and facilitation skills in diverse education settings. Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel throughout California. Passion for empowering educators and improving student outcomes. Compensation and Commitment Each 3-hour session pays $300 to $600, depending on scope and district. Multiple opportunities available, with travel reimbursed when applicable.
