Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will:

• Provide clinical expertise and leadership to enhance specialized patient care.
• Assess the quality of care for specific patient populations.
• Coordinate and implement orientation programs for nursing staff.
• Collaborate with medical providers and unit management to deliver educational curricula.
• Monitor trends and implement educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Act as a resource for nurses, helping them make informed decisions based on evidence-based practices.
• Participate in teaching and coaching staff nurses, graduate nursing students, and other healthcare professionals.
• Foster a spirit of inquiry and support research initiatives to advance clinical practice.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited university; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting.
• Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• A commitment to maintaining clinical competency and confidentiality.
