Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will:

• Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care within our Intensive Care and Step Down Units.
• Assess and improve the quality of care for specific patient populations.
• Coordinate and implement orientation programs for nursing staff, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and deliver engaging educational curricula.
• Monitor compliance with quality standards and implement educational strategies to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
• Act as a resource for clinical practice interventions that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Foster a spirit of inquiry by identifying research needs and applying findings to advance clinical practice.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A BSN from an accredited university (Master's preferred).
• A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
• At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting.
• Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• A commitment to maintaining clinical competency and confidentiality.
