Wood Personnel has partnered with Gallatin based environmental clean up organization, specializing in storm water compliance, ponds, oil and water separation, and more.

Dispatcher Overview:
The Dispatcher will be a vital member of our operations team, responsible for scheduling and dispatching vacuum trucks for various jobs, such as cleaning out water from car washes. This role involves direct communication with drivers and customers, managing schedules, rerouting based on real-time conditions, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. This is a temp-to-hire position with potential for growth within the company.

Dispatcher Compensation and Benefits:

• $22 per hour – Depending on Experience
• Excellent Medical and Dental benefits
• Individual: 100% covered by employer
• Family: 60% covered by employer
• 401K with 100% match of the first 3%
• Potential for a hybrid schedule after trust is established

Dispatcher Responsibilities and Duties:

• Schedule and dispatch vacuum trucks for various jobs
• Communicate directly with drivers and customers, managing schedules and rerouting as necessary
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and requirements
• Use Excel for basic data export and route planning, considering profit margins and logistical constraints
• Handle change efficiently and think on your feet to resolve issues like traffic delays and equipment malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to dispatching activities

Dispatcher Skills and Requirements:

• Prior experience in scheduling and dispatching, preferably in a trucking or similar environment
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and hours of service management
• Basic knowledge of Excel, including familiarity with formulas
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and external customers
• Reliable work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow with the company
