FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. As an Inbound-Inside Sales Representative with FCX Performance/Simone, you will establish and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team. You’ll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their process flow control and instrumentation needs, while providing solutions to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results! Essential Functions & Responsibilities include selling company products and services by processing orders, price and delivery inquiries, providing technical and application information, soliciting customer orders and suggesting additional products in a fast paced multi-tasking environment. Responsibilities also include maintaining responsibility of orders from quotation to collection, selecting and specifying a variety of products using FCX and vendor tools/software, responding to customer inquiries, processing orders and acknowledgements, reviewing purchase orders, checking availability and ship dates, increasing order size by suggesting related items, processing and expediting orders and returns, locating products and creating purchase orders, negotiating pricing and delivery with vendors, working closely with Outside Salesman, communicating effectively within the inside sales team, maximizing gross margin, reviewing open customer order reports, and other duties as assigned by management. Preferred education is a Bachelor’s Degree and 1-3+ years’ experience in Customer Service related Industry preferred, with experience in Inside Technical Sales/Customer Service/Application Engineer role with an Industrial Distributor a plus.
