The ideal candidate will provide essential academic advising and case management support to both prospective and current students. In this role, you will build and maintain advising relationships, analyze student data, and help develop tailored academic plans. Your responsibilities will include offering career resources, reviewing academic records for any concerns, and collaborating closely with program faculty on advising for pathways and transfers. As an Academic and Career Advisor, you will embody our organization's core values and actively support a culture of respect and inclusivity. To excel in this position, you should possess an Associate's degree in a social science or related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in student advising or related student services and counseling roles. You should have a solid understanding of college academic programs, support services, and best practices in advising. Excellent communication, computer, and multitasking skills are essential, along with the ability to create a supportive environment for personal discussions.
