Job Title: Systems Integrator Job Location: Fort Carson, CO Job Type: Full time 40 hours Travel Requirement: Up to 25% Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI Job Description: Sherpa 6, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integrator in support of USSOCOM Program Executive Office TIS supporting USASOC. The Systems Integrator will provide onsite support to SOCOM units in a variety of technical areas including all SOF Deployable Node (SDN) satellite systems, Military C4ISR, networking & system administration, onsite New Equipment Training and follow-on sustainment training, communications planning support, local unit level maintenance support, and offsite training & exercise support. The Systems Integrator shall be experienced in all manner of tactical and strategic DoD communications. The Systems Integrator shall be knowledgeable of all PEO-TIS fielded systems to include but not limited to SDN, TACLAN, RIS, Tactical Radios, etc. The Systems Integrator shall provide highly technical expertise for PEO-TIS systems and related interoperable components as required. Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and systems that operate in and between devices. Manages all aspects of the mission support process for applicable assets, including information technology assets and systems as prescribed by PEO-TIS. Apply systems engineering principles, methods and knowledge to specific task requirements to meet customer needs for PEO-TIS systems and required ancillary equipment that interacts with USSOCOM component hardware. Responsibilities: Proficient mastery of SOF Deployable Nodes (SDN) family of systems equipment and capabilities. Facilitate equipment upgrades as required by Naval Information Warfare Center / Special Operations Communications Systems (SOCS) program. Provide equipment troubleshooting, training, support, and fielding of all SDN equipment within the Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM) scheduling. Provide technical support to all personnel, equipment and material under the Satellite Deployable Node Family of Systems program. Interact with differing levels of tiered support teams from different organizations to ensure that hardware and software provides optimal support to customers. Provide instructional guidance to supported units as required on how to install, maintain, operate, upgrade, and troubleshoot the various SATCOM and Baseband equipment systems as required. Perform access control, routing and switching engineering and configuration for tactical modems and hardware. Support interoperability testing with all applicable stakeholders within the area of operation for dedicated assets. Interact with other programs and systems to ensure their dependencies are understood and integrated into solutions. Qualifications: Demonstratable experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting of network switches and routers. Comprehensive knowledge of military C4ISR satellite systems using Ku, Ka, X, and C band antennas with multiple basebands and routers, and TDMA or FDMA networks. Understanding of multi-band SATCOM to include but not limited to; very small to large aperture antenna terminals, auto-acquire and manual pointing systems, GATR inflatables, Commercial On-The-Move (COTM) SCOSS, KuSS, and Kymeta antennas. Parabolic AVL Hawkeye and L-3Harris Panther and Tampa Microwave variants. Familiar with commercial and military satellite networks. Excellent communication skills. Minimum 3 years in USSOCOM units working in Communications field. Must be a US citizen. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Preferred Experience: 10+ years in USSOCOM units working in Communications field CompTIA Security+ 4 years’ experience in administration of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint and Office products. 4 years’ experience in administration of storage solutions 4 years’ experience in administration of Cisco routers, switches and firewalls, including demonstrable experience analyzing firewall rule sets and router access control Demonstrable experience in managing, responding to, and resolving crisis situations caused by network outages or delays Understanding of radio IP translation and wide area voice environments and communications messaging systems MCSA or MSCE certified, or 5 – 7 years as a SOF Communicator CCNA or CCNP certified, or 5 – 7 years as a SOF Communicator Background Screening/Check/Investigation: Successful completion of a background screening/check/investigation will/may be required as a condition of hire.
