Bookkeeper & Virtual Assistant

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with 1 hour of unpaid break

  • Perform comprehensive bookkeeping tasks including categorizing transactions and reconciling client accounts using specialized industry software
  • Prepare and manage sales tax filings and compliance for multiple clients
  • Handle client email management and professional correspondence
  • Execute precise receipt matching and transaction documentation
  • Provide general organizational support and administrative assistance to clients
  • Learn and master industry-specific bookkeeping software and proprietary processes
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the existing team while maintaining direct client relationships
  • Adapt to evolving client needs and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals with a strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience working with US-based companies and understanding of US accounting practices
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software systems and adapt to specialized tools
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Flexibility to handle both detailed financial work and general administrative tasks
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration

  • Ability to work independently while being fully integrated into the client service team
